What Causes Bruise And Red Dots After Drawing Blood?

I had blood drawn 5 days ago. At first i had a normal bruise but yesterday red fots started to appear around the area n now it looks like the area where the red dots are is bruising and it is starting to hurt. Is that normal? It has never happened to me before
