What Causes Burning And Tingling Sensation Of Feet?

I am a 40 year old female. I have been having burning and tingling in my feet and a numbness sort of feeling in my feet, legs, hands, and arms. I keep getting chills/goosebumps in my arms and legs even though I am not cold. My feet sometimes get so hot and red. Sometimes they are red and hot at the same time, sometimes only one gets red and hot and the other is white as a ghost. I took pictures of my feet when they did this for the doctor but he said he didn't need to seem them. It is hard to sleep and I am very uncomfortable. I went to a neurologist today and he had me walk, stand on one foot, take 5 steps on my heels and toes and used a reflex hammer. He said my symptoms are subjective and not objective so he is not going to test or treat at this time. Is this reasonable?
