What Causes Calcifications In Uterus?

I had a internal sonogram in sept that showed I had several cysts and polyps.My doctor did not seem concerned and suggested I have a re check in 3 months.I had my re check today and it showed to calcifications in my uterus.She seemed concerned this time and now I have to have a D and C. Should I be worried?
