What Causes Dark Urine With Burning Sensation And Discomfort In Genital Area?

I was diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis. I was given a prescription for a cream and it relieved the symptoms, 3 days later symptoms returned. I called the doctor back and they called me in a pill for the same treatment. I still have burning when I urinate and discomfort in genital area. Urine is darker than usual and I have a discharge that appears clear and white no odor. What could this be?
