What Causes Frequent Bleeding And Cramping?

I had a TAH/BSO 2 years ago and had stage 3 endometriosis that I was told was totally removed. About 8 months ago I started having the familiar pains again and it has been getting increasingly worse. Around 3 months ago I started bleeding vaginally after being intimate but it was very light. Since then it has started to come at random times and last night after being intimate it was a very large amount of bright red blood. This was the 3rd time it was enough to be like a very heavy period. I do not have a cervix and I am no longer on HRT. I do have an appt. with a GYN in 2 weeks but is there a point when I should push the appt. up or go to the ER? My Mom has survived Ovarian, Cervical, Breast and Colon cancers. I know Cervical is mostly due to HPV but could that be the cause of the bleeding and cramping? Thanks
