What Causes Frequent Swelling Of Lips?

I am at a loss for whats going on. A lunch (at work in office) yesterday I strted to feel a strange tingle in my lip and new it was a hive forming. sure enough my top lip was huge.. i have had hives in the past but nothing like this... when i got home I took two benydril and notice my bottom lip was swollen now. the ben, began to work and i went to bed upon waking in the am the swelling was gone no more hives. I went to work again. this time at approx 4pm i felt another hive starting on the side of my mouth and all of a suddon my voice went horse. no swelling of the toung of throat...i took two benydril and it seems to be reducing. I just realized the last two days I have been using an expired spf15 olay face lotion. could this be causing these syptoms so late in the day? I am putting it on early am. or could this be stress my job is killing me? Im 55 yrs old female no major health complications that I know of.
