What Causes Greenish Vaginal Discharge With Cervicitis And Vaginitis?

Hi. I am 24 years old and I am in a mutually monogomous relationship. I was diagnosed with cervicitis and vaginitis June 7, and I was given treatment for 6 weeks with a gram stain test and cervical swab taken once a week. Just last week, my gram stain test gave out normal results according to my gynecologist and he said that I shouldn't be worried anymore because I'm cured. However, I'm still concerned a bright yellow-greenish discharge I get from time to time. It's not much and looks like dried snot. Is this just a sign that my body is just cleansing itself? Help please. Thank you.
