What Causes Hair Fall When Recovering From Malaria And Jaundice?

My elder sister is 18 years old. She was suffering from malaria and then jaundice and has recovered just 1 month ago. She is now taking vitamins on doctor s advice. From nearly 2weeks before she is complaining of hairfall and is very tensed. Please advice something.
