What Causes Heating Sensation Above Stomach On Left Side?

Hi, I have a small enquiry! Above my stomach on my left hand side, under my left breast, I get a heat sensation every now and then which only lasts for about 10-20 seconds. It comes on and off and there is no pain, just feels like heat on the inside, please help?!!
