What Causes Heaviness And Numbness In Labia?

I am a healthy 45 year old female (no children or surgeries) and have a long commute to work each day and sit on the train for close to 4 hours every day, 5 days a week for the last year. About two weeks ago, my left hip has been bothering me. It is sore on the outside and also in the groin area; worse when I get up from a seated position and take a few steps, then it gets better. The thing that concerns me however, is that my left labia also feels "heavy" and almost numb. There was some sharp pain as well in the labia with walking early on but that has resolved. The numbness/heaviness is persisting. Visual inspection shows no abnormalities, no redness or swelling or lumps. No vaginal discharge although there is a burning sensation at times. I have an appointment in a few weeks with an orthopedic specialist but was wondering what your ideas are on the labia. Does hip pain radiate to the labia? Could I have pinched a nerve from the prolonged sitting? Thank you.
