What Causes Irregular Periods And Swelling In Vagina?

Hi,,,,,,,I have'nt had insurance for about 3 years, and just got insurance coverage in august.....i found out that i have 2 uteran cysts (before I lost my insurance.)....one on the lining of my uterus and one attached by a sort of cord...I have had abnormal periods....in between bleeding, spotting....I'm 51 years old......I really don't have alot of pain and discomfort.....I do have some constipation periodically........the freaky thing is........I can now feel something in my vagina......cervix??I believe it is the cyst, maybe, feels like it is trying to come out......I cannot use a tampon during my period....it is pushed out.......I'm kind of scared.....and am calling a dr. tomorrow......do I need to go to emergency room?? Does this happen to other women very much?
