What Causes Irregular Periods?

Hi i had a period for 7 days then came on again 2 weeks later, bleed for 4 days, I have just finished there is no blood in my underwear, however when i wipe myself after going to the toilet there is very light blood almost diluited.
I got my tubes tied 1 year again, I am 32 years of age.
