What Causes Itching And Inflammation In The Clitoris?

I just took a trip up to Massachusetts from Arizona, the last time I was here I got something on the lips of my vagina that was like a spider bite, I drained it and it went away in a few days. Now I have an itchy and slightly red clitoris and was wondering if the climate could be affecting it, as it is much more humid here and very different from the desert.
