What Causes Itching Around Anus And Two Itching Nodules On Vulva?

I am 30, female. I have itching around anus, two nodules on vulva that itch as well. I have been unofficially diagnosed with genital herpes several years ago and so I am aware that I have that going on. However, the large nodules are a new occurrence. I usually only have an outbreak at the time of my menstrual cycle or heightened stress provoking situations. My outbreaks usually subside once my cycle begins or at least by the time it is over. This time, I have been extremely irritated during and after my cycle and I do not think that it is just genital herpes. Could it be some infection going on? One of the nodules is larger than the other. It feels like I experienced an herpes legion on top of the nodule because the only other time I noticed a nodule, there was no itching or pain. It was just there. I do not have insurance to go to a walk-in clinic and I am not sure what to do. This already incredibly embarrassing and I am really physically uncomfortable due to the itching in around anus. Can any one of you point in the right direction? Thanks so much.
