What Causes Itching, Irritation, And Burning During Urination?

I am 19 and 18 days late on my period. I have had two negative pregnancy tests already and am having a lot of vaginal discharge that looks like cottage cheese. I have itching, irritation, and sometimes burning when I urinate. What can this be? And if this is an infection, could this be affecting my period?
