What Causes Knots On The Penis?

Recently I found two bb sized knots in the muscle tissue of my penis. They came out of nowhere, basically overnight. One midway in the shaft and the other toward the head (the smaller one). They never hurt, unless I am erect AND push on them or move my penis side to side. Should I be worried? What is this?
