What Causes Menstruation Again?

Hi I'm a 30yr old female an am currently recovering from Dengue fever and a gastro bug (diarrhea). Had my normal menstral period finish 1 week ago an today I have begun menstruating again. I'm wondering if this is due to the sickness or something I need to look further into? My cycles are usually regular.
