What Causes Missing Periods, Spotting And Abdominal Pain?

I missed my dates. But i have discharge in brown colour. I dont have any symptoms regarding pregnancy. I had sex with my boy friend. So i have a great confusion wheather i am pregnent? I have abdominal pain that too not seviour but like a period pain. why is it?
