What Causes Painful Pimples On Butt, Back Of Legs In A Kid?

My 2 year old has pimples on her butt and the backs of her legs. The get a white head and look painful. She only complains that that hurt if I touch them. My husband gets them too and said it hereditary and nothing helps. Should I take her to a dermatologist.
