What Causes Painful Red Spot Inside The Left Lower Eyelid?

I had a sudden pain in my left eye. Later I found a red spot inside my left lower eyelid and it still exists for almost four weeks now. The pain only lasted one day and I don't feel anything now, except in the morning when I wake up I feel a little uncomfortable.

Is it serious? Should I see a doctor and use any medicine?
