What Causes Periods Within 14 Days Of The Previous Cycle?

I am 42, I have been having normal menstral cycles for the past years, this month I had a cycle on the first of the month, on Thursday I started a cycle again, just 14 days after my other cycle. Husband has been fixed, so I cant see being preg. Any ideas?
