What Causes Protein In Urine,diarrhea And Vomiting?

My daughter has previously been in hospital with a urine infection and a bulid up of proteus. She has now got a substantial amount of protein in her urine again and is suffering from vomiting and diarrehoea. Her most reason sample of urine done at home looks like there is a ball of cotton wool developing in the bottom of the bottle, is this normal fro someone who has protein? My daughter is seven
