What Causes Purple And Red Coloring Around Edges Of Injection Site?

I have been taking enoxaparin (100 mg) for two months (2 shots a day - at home). I'm being treated for acute deep vien thrombosis WITH pulmonary embolism (upper right arm from @my neck to shoulder. The doctors don't want to transtion to coumdin/warfin because of a brain bleed (Aterial (?) Cavanous malformations)

Questions:

1. Around the injection sites (only in the left lower) I'm seeing purple (under the skin 6 inches across) mixed in with red and yellow around the edges. The warning states that "Bleeding" may occur, however I have no external bleeding and no pain. It just looks like a "Big bruise" that don't hurt.

2. Should the doctor's be giving me periodic blodd checks to see if this "Thinner" is at the right level.

3. 6 weeks into the medication I developed a "Superfiscal" blood clot in my right arm. I believed that; if on this medicine no "New" clots would develop.

I'm confused: This medicine dosen't appear to be working; however, could my "Brusing" be the signs of an internal hemorrhage?
