What Causes Sharp Pain Under The Left Armpit?

About a week ago I have been having this tiny sharp pain under my left armpit. This week the tiny sharp pains have been coming from the left side of my chest, to my shoulder, and down to my elbow. I'm 23, I have acid reflux and also have a history of sleep paralysis, to add lately I haven't been able to sleep at night, usually staying up to 6am for a few months now.
