What Causes Skin Allergy Which Has Turned Red And Itchy?

i am having a skin allergic reaction since last two days in which my skin in turning red and i feel itching...the allergy increases as i itch...the skin look like boils same as when bitten by a ant or a sting of a bee...what may be the cause for this?
