What Causes Small Knots Under The Skin?

Hi. I'm a 33 year old female. I'm 5'7" and weigh 135 lbs. I have one child who is 9 and I've never had any serious health problems. For the past two years I've had a small knot under the skin between the very top of my left inner thigh and my genitals. Every so often, maybe about twice a year in the last two years, it will become very swollen and painful for a few days and then go back to being a small non-tender knot. Yesterday it flared up again and when I went to bed last night it hurt so badly that I couldn't even get comfortable enough to go to sleep. It had never hurt that much before and it was also alot bigger. In the past it was maybe about the size of dime, last night it was about 2-2.5 inches long and about a centimeter wide. It was like a raised tunnel under my skin. When I woke up this morning I turned over in the bed and when I did it felt like my skin down there ripped apart. A minute later it felt really wet, like I had urinated in the bed. There was all this drainage from the lump. Some of it was a dull yellow color, some was clear and sticky, and some was blood. There were also small white clumps that looked like cottage cheese. It has continued to drain and bleed the entire day. I'm going to the doctor in the morning but I'm really nervous about what this is and what the doctor is going to do to me. I've been taking Ibuprofen for the pain today but it still hurts.
