What Causes Small Skin Growth Around The Chin?

I have several small skin growth in areas around chin, lower jaw & neck. It is white in color. First it comes like a pimple then if by mistake I cut it while shaving then it becomes longer & harder. What should I do as it is in shaving area so it gets cut now & then. Please help.
