What Causes Sore Red Bump On My Right Side?

I woke up today with a red bump on my right side. It looks like a really big pimple, but when I try to pop it, only a little bit of blood comes out. It is also very sore. It hurts to touch it and it hurts if I brush my arm against it. Any idea on what it could be?
