What Causes Sporadic Liver Spots In Wrist, Hands And Torso?

I am 29 years old, approx 130 pounds and am 5'1". Social drinker and relatively active. Approx. 2 weeks ago I noticed a circular pattern of what appear to look like small liver spots on my torso right below the right breast on my rib cage. At first just a few of them appeared dry or scabbed but I never had any pain or itching associated and now they all seem to be smooth. I've also noticed the same type of spots on my left wrist & hand but more sporadic rather than in a circular type pattern. They almost look like splashed grease burns but I've never cooked without a shirt so I am perplexed as to what these might be. Just looking for any thoughts or ideas?
