What Causes Swelling, Redness, Itching And Burning On The Face?

Hi, I have a question regarding an allergic reaction to a facial that I had on Sunday afternoon. My face became red, swollen, and itchy and burning. I went to the doctor the next day and he prescribed me Taro-Mometasone Lotion (Topical Solution) to use twice a day on the first day and then once a day after that. I used once today but my face is now really red and dry. What should I do?
