What Causes Swollen Skin On Vagina?

There is a small piece of skin in my vagina that is very swollen at the bottom an has a hard blood blister looking piece at the top. It's extremely painful & showed up about a week ago. I've had the same sex partner for almost a year and have never had any stds. What should I do?
