What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Undergoing Hysterectomy?

I had a daVinici hysterectomy 7 months ago and had intercourse for the first time since today. Afterwards, I noted pale red to pink tinged discharge. I showered and went out for the evening. When I returned, I had dried red blood on my panty shield. It does not appear to be active bleeding at this point. Is this normal? Please do not publish my email address!
