What Could Cause Blisters On Penis?

can blisters on my penis that look like herpes be caused from rough oral sex? my bf gave me some rough oral and it was sore and a little red and the next morning i had 2 small blisters. but a day or so later the blisters are already gone and the redness has gone down as well. i m thinking his tooth may have knicked my penis. I do have a cold sore right now on my lower lip but I wash my hands often as needed and have not touched my cold sore and then touched my penis. i just want to know if i can get genital herpes from my own cold sore?
