What Could Chronic Bleeding With Sharp, Painful Ovaries Indicate?

Hello, im 21 and have been on the depo in the past. Was on depo for about 4 years until January of 2013 when I had stopped it. Now ive been bleeding for 2 straight months, not heavy but not spotting either. I spotted a little bit in the summer of 2013. But since January of 2014 ive had sharp pinching pains in my overies. when I cough, stand up fast, sneeze, or stretch. Ive never had a papsmere and have been sexually active with my boyfriend of the last 3 in a half years. Please tell me if this is normal from being on the depo for so long, or if I really need to go c a ob fast.
