What Could Lesions In Hysteroscopy Indicate?

I recent had an Hysteroscopy under general anaesthetic. Apparently the surgeon has found some lesions but I now have to wait until mid-December to find out what this means. I am very concerned as I had pre-cancerous cells in my late teens (they were removed) and now I am in my mid-50's. The reason I had the operation was because I was bleeding (lightly) whilst on HRT.
