What Could Light Periods Indicate?

I am 43yrs old, weigh 150lbs and just had a very light period. I have not used birth control for years because my tubes and uterus are heavy with scar tissue and SIN. The ends of my falopian tubes are blunted. My last pregnancy was 7 yrs ago and resulted in a miscarriage. I have not used birth control for over 10 years. My periods are pretty regular, but sometimes I will get 2 in one month. This month I felt "hormonal" and then had what I would call a very light period. I usually to through a heavy flow tampon every 1 - 2 hours at onset. Accompanied with heavy cramping and 2 - 3 days of heavy flow, then it tapers off and lasts 5 - 7 days. This month my period was a few days late and was light. I did not have a flow heavy enough to "need" to change a tampon at any time. Although the bleeding was "red" it was never heavy. The "flow" lasted 5 days. I still have sore breasts and feel bloated still. Help? is this some sign of a pregnancy? or just hormones gone wacky?
