What Could Partial Sensory Loss After A Thoracic Injury Indicate?

hi i am 20year oldmedical student. My mom had a stab wound to thoracic region.Now she has sensory loss on left side of the body upto D 10 level.And weaker examination on right leg.Deep tendon reflexes are intact on left side but brisker in right lower limb.I just want to understand the clinical study behind her symptoms??
