What Does A Dark Purple Lump In The Vaginal Opening Indicate?

i have a dark purple lump that has grown over the past few weeks and was sore when it was first noticed then seemed to go away pain wise, but when i checked yesterday it has grown and this morning i seem to be bleeding from it. it is dark purple from what I can see and is on the inside of the part I am not sure what it is called... not the lips of the vulva area, but the more flappy bits in the middle.. sorry for my description, only way I could think to decscribe it
