What Does Growth Surrounding Vaginal Orifice Indicate?

I recently had a visit to my obgyn. The reason was a concern about new growths surrounding my vaginal orifice. The growths are very small and opaque in appearance. The growths have a length of 1 to 2 mm. The doctor was unable to give me a definitive classification of what these growths are. The doctor said it was part of my mucosa. These growths are new to me. Surely, there is some classification for them. Please help me identify them so I can get some closure.
