What Does It Mean When There Is Blood Like Stains?

hi, I have taken deviry 10mg tablet as directed by a gynae.. I started the tablet from 14th april to 18th april( 5days). today i found there was a little blood stains but am not sure whether i have got my periods or not... can you pls confirm how does this tablet works...? I shd start taking femilon tablets from 1st day of my periods as told by the doctor...but am not sure whether i have got my periods as thr was jus blood stains in the afternoon today and after that i did not see any bleeding...
