What Does Missed Abortion Mean?

what is the meaning of missed abortion? am 4 months pregnant now, the 2nd month i have a little bleeding, and i went to my doctor he give me treatment, the 4month, then went for a scan, the doctor conclusion was missed abortion. please explain to me, i need your advice. thank you.
