What Is The Bean Sized Bump On The Inside Of Vagina?

My boyfriend was fingering me for the first time and he said that he felt a bean sized bump on the inside of my vagina, the side closest to my belly button. It didn t hurt when he touched it but I m worried about that it is. Also the second time he was fingering me he got carried away and tried to use two fingers, we both felt something break, was this the hymen or something else that wasn t supposed to be broken and has caused me some damage?
