What Is The Best Medication For Vaginal Itching?

I am suffering from vaginal itching inside and outside aswell since last 2 days, after having protected intercourse(condom). Someone suggested to try lobate GM oinment. Is it safe for inside vaginal application for this sort of infection. Kindly suggest. Till now I have not taken any medications.
