What Is The Best Position To Sleep If Having Pain Due To Umbilical Hernia?

I was diagnosed with an umbilical hernia in July of 2011. I am a 46 year old woman with controlled hypertension. In 2011, I lost over 100 plus pounds, I'm down to around 170 or so. I'm on norvasc and lisinopril for my blood pressure. The pain from the hernia has gotten worse, sleeping is a problem because I can't get comfortable. Until I have surgery, what is the best position for me to sleep in? My hernia is on the left side. Thank you, Renee Wilson
