What Is The Medication For Eczema?

I Hope you can. My daughter has a 5mth old girl she has eczema the dr has given her a cream (can't spell the name) she can only put the cream for couple of days. The cream isn't doing much for the baby. She is crying, csratching all the time. The question is can we put calamine on her to been itchy all the time. My daughter is going nuts over it.She just told me she doesn't know how much more she can take.I am getting worried about her
