What Is The Reason For Abnormal Bleeding During Periods?

hi i am 34 and have had 6 children. i do not know what to do. i found out i was pregnant when i was 2 weeks late with my period, 4 days later i bled like a normal period that was 6 days ago i stopped for 24hrs and sarted again. bleed was a little heavy at first for a couple of days now it is light. what can be wrong?
