What Is The Reason For Sharp Pain In The Labia Minora Along With Swelling?

Hello, Saturday night my boyfriend was performing oral sex on me as he normally would so after that we got to it but I noticed that I had a sharp pain as he tries to penetrate. I immediately turn him away and got up because I felt a bump!!! I started crying when I realized my right labia minora had swollen to the size of a small purple plum!!! I had just taken a shower so I knew that had nothing to do with it. I showed my boyfriend and he said he had bit and sucked my labia a little too hard so he guessed that s what caused my labia to get swollen. We did some googling and read about hematomas. Today is Tuesday the bump is blackish purplish and it itches and hurts a little? What s going on? Should I run to the doctor? Is it infected?
