What Is The Red Fluid And Mild Spotting After The Periods?

I had my period about two week ago and today I had red fluid and mild spotting down there. This never happened before. My menstrual cycle has been always normal . I am 25 and my periods started at 16 years of age. This can't be pregnancy as I am a virgin. Please tell me is it a serious problem? what should I do?
