What Is The Right Way To Insert Tampon During My Period?

I've had my period 4 about 25yrs using tampons for most of it. The last 4 mos my body wants to push tampon out almost immediately after inserting or at least within an hour. My flow has not changed. I do have one spot on the right side that is really painful when inserting but it doesn't prevent me from depositing tampon in proper spot and it's been sensitive for yrs. why can't I keep tampon in? I have to redo multiple times b4 it will stay
