What Is The Suggested Treatment For Pain Caused By Injury?

Hi. i was hit on the inside of my left knee with a soccer ball pretty hard and there is an abnormally large, blue and purple bruise (abnormal because i normally don't get bruises from the ball) about the size of my palm. when im walking i will randomly get sharp pains in that region like something is tearing, then it will go away and randomly happen again later. Should i go see a doctor?
